We turned Taco Bell HQ into a drive-thru for the essential workers who couldn’t fit through traditional drive-thrus.
When the pandemic hit, drive-thrus were the only option. But there was a big group of essential workers left out. We changed that by creating a special drive-thru for truckers, firefighters, EMTs, police and media news vans. It got a lot of press.
